Who We Are

Founded in 2008, Conklin's Construction Inc. was born out of an interest in quality craftsmanship, and has evolved into a trusted name, recognized for delivering outstanding quality products and maintaining a superior standard of customer care and service.

Owner, Matt Conklin, cultivated a love for carpentry and construction during a furniture design course at Conestoga College. Further refining this passion, he pursued studies in General Carpentry, successfully completing his apprenticeship, and attaining red seal status in the field in 2018.

Based in Muskoka, Ontario, Conklin’s Construction Inc. offers an array of contracting services, with a focus on crafting custom-built cottages, homes, garages, and boathouses. Matt's team, comprising in-house carpenters and a network of local sub-trades, ensures seamless project execution, adhering to schedules with precision.

A proud husband and father of two, Matt invests in the people closest to him and plays an active role in his community. Through years of dedicated effort, the Conklin’s team has expanded, and Matt is pleased to share his company with partner, Cole Haddon. Together, their shared goal is to surpass client expectations and deliver a product which families can enjoy for decades.
